Winchester City Council has paved the way for major development at Barton Farm, a 300 acre site to the north-west of Winchester.

The Save Barton Farm Group, the largest community group in Winchester, wish to stop this proposed short-term, reactive proposal and instead will fight tooth and nail to protect Winchester from irresponsible and crass development that will change the character of Winchester forever.

We do not want Winchester to become “…just another southern City surrounded by urban sprawl.”  Winchester needs and deserves better than that from the Council that is supposed to serve Winchester.
