On the 8 June 2004 the public local inquiry commences into the Winchester District Local Plan Review. This inquiry is the last real opportunity for residents of Winchester to object to the designation of Barton Farm as a potential site for major housing development. Cala Homes will be pushing for the release of the site at the inquiry so that they can proceed as quickly as possible with its development - this has to be vigorously opposed!
